CARLSBAD, Calif. – The Golf Coaches Association of America revealed its Division I PING All-Region honorees on Saturday, with Kent State's Jordan Gilkison earning a selection after a stellar senior season. Gilkison was one of 25 individuals to be named to the Midwest All-Region Team.
The MAC Golfer of the Year and First Team All-MAC selection becomes the first Kent State golfer to earn a PING All-Region honor since his brother, Josh, in 2022. Gilkison had the best season of his collegiate career in 2024-25, tallying three individual wins, including the MAC Championship. He led the Flashes this season with 25 rounds of par or better, 14 rounds in the 60s, and a 70.78 scoring average.
Gilkison wrapped up his collegiate career earlier this month with Kent State's best individual finish at the Amherst NCAA Regional, tying for 14th place at 1-under-par.
