KENT, Ohio – The reigning MAC Champion Kent State men's golf team revealed its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Monday. The Golden Flashes will compete in ten team events this season, culminating in the MAC Championship at Holiday Farms in Zionsville, Indiana, as the team chases a second consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
Kent State will open the season with a trip across the Pacific as the Flashes take part in the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League at Grand Fields Country Club in Mishima, Japan, September 3-5. For the second year in a row, the Flashes are set to return to the Canadian Collegiate, an event where Ontario-native Isaiah Ibit starred with a second-place finish at Öviinbyrd Golf Club last Fall. The team's second international event is slated for September 14-16.
Kent State will close the month of September with the squad's first tournament on American soil as the Flashes return to the prestigious Blessings Collegiate Invitational at the Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from September 29 to October 1. The Fall season rolls on with a return to the Fighting Irish Collegiate at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Indiana, set for October 6-7, before the Flashes head West for their final tournament of the Fall at the Cal Poly Invitational on October 27-28 at the Preserve Golf Club in Monterey, California.
Following a three-month Winter break, Kent State will open the Spring season with the Hal Williams Intercollegiate at Magnolia Grove Golf Club in Mobile, Alabama, on February 16-17, marking the sixth consecutive year the Flashes have opened the Spring with the event. The team will then head to South Carolina as they take part in the General Hackler Championship for the 14th year in a row, slated for March 15-17 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Following a similar trend, the Flashes will next compete in the Hootie at Bulls Bay for the ninth consecutive year, with the 2026 edition of the event set for March 22-24 at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina. Kent State's final event before the MAC Championship will be another familiar contest: the Robert Kepler Invitational. The Flashes will head to OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, April 11-12, to make their 12th consecutive appearance in the tournament.
The Flashes will conclude the 2025-26 season by defending the team's MAC Championship at Holiday Farms in Zionsville, Indiana, May 3-5. Kent State will compete for the program's 30th MAC title as Central Michigan serves as the host institution of the 2026 Championship.
