CLEVELAND — The Mid-American Conference announced the 2025-26 women's basketball league schedule, an 18-game slate that begins on Dec. 20, on Thursday morning.
Kent State will head to Bowling Green for the conference opener and then return to action against Miami for the first league contest at the M.A.C. Center on New Year's Eve.
The Golden Flashes will host MAC newcomer UMass on Jan. 3 before back-to-back games in the Mitten State, first at Central Michigan on Jan. 7 and then Eastern Michigan on Jan. 10.
Home contests against Ohio (Jan. 14) and rival Akron (Jan. 17) will take place during the first week with students back on campus. The month then closes with matchups against the top three teams in last season's conference standings, as the Flashes visit Buffalo on Jan. 24 and Toledo on Jan. 28, before returning to the M.A.C. Center to host Ball State on Jan. 31.
Two more home games — a rematch with Bowling Green on Feb. 4 and MAC-Sun Belt Challenge contest on Feb. 7 — follow before visiting Ohio on Feb. 14 and hosting Northern Illinois on Feb. 18.
Three of the next four will be played on the road, starting at rival Akron on Feb. 21 and at UMass on Feb. 25. Following a home game against Central Michigan on Feb. 28, the Flashes will visit Miami on March 4. The regular season concludes on March 7 at home against Western Michigan.
The top eight teams in the conference standings will compete in the 2026 MAC Women's Basketball Tournament at Cleveland's Rocket Arena from March 11-14.
