Kedronova Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Friday that Veronika Kedronova of the Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf team has been named the conference's Golf of the Week.
Kedronova claimed the fourth individual win of her collegiate career on Tuesday at the Canadian Collegiate, finishing atop a field of 65 golfers that featured three top 25 teams. She matched her career low round of 66 in round one before posting a 70 in round two to conclude the rain-shortened event at 8-under-par. Kedronova also led the field in birdies, carding 12 across two rounds of play.
Kedronova is set to represent Czechia at the 2025 World Amateur Team Championship, October 1-4 at the Tanah Merah Country Club, Singapore.
The Golden Flashes will return to action at the prestigious Blessings Collegiate Invitational, set to begin on Monday, September 29. Kent State's men's golf program will also compete in the event.
