Golden Flashes Finish Eighth at UCF Challenge

Kedronová rebounds to finish even par and lead the Golden Flashes
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf team completed play at the UCF Challenge, Presented by PDI, on Monday at Eagle Creek Golf Club, finishing eighth at 5-over.
Auburn claimed the team title at 24-under, while Mississippi State finished second, four strokes back. Auburn's Katie Cranston earned individual medalist honors at 9-under.
Veronika Kedronová led the Golden Flashes, finishing the tournament at even par. After opening with a 4-over round, Kedronová rebounded with steady play over the final two rounds, shooting her way back to even across the final 36 holes.
Petra Babicová finished at 1-over for the tournament, while Leon Takagi and Isabella Goyette each posted 2-over scores. Aryn Matthews competed as an individual and finished at 10-over, while Gracie Larsen closed the event at 12-over.
Kent State will take three weeks off before returning to Florida for the Spartan Suncoast Collegiate Invitational in Sarasota, hosted by Michigan State.
