
Kent State Heading to Arkansas for Blessings Collegiate Invitational

Kent, Ohio – The Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel Women's Golf team is traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 3.Â
Saturday will start the 7th annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational. The nine-team tournament will take place over three days at the Blessings Golf Course with the University of Arkansas as the event host.Â

- Five out of the six Blessings Collegiate Invitationals have been won by Arkansas. The Razorbacks have been dominant as of late with a -11 score in 2023, a -12 in 2024, and a -8 in 2025. Mississippi State won the tournament in 2022, but they aren't in the 2026 tournament.Â
- Kent State finished in 2nd place out of 10 teams in last year's Blessings Collegiate Invitational, finishing seven strokes ahead of former tournament winner Mississippi State.Â
- Gracie Larsen (5th), Isabella Goyette (9th), and Aryn Matthews (10th) each finished in the top-10 individually of last year's Arkansas tournament. Larsen, Goyette, and Matthews have been the top performers for Kent State so far this season.Â
- The Golden Flashes have been increasingly getting better this season, placing in 7th in the Boilermaker Classic, before finishing in 5th in September's Canadian Collegiate Invitational.Â
