
Bath Named MAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND – Kent State senior Ayden Bath has earned Mid-American Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors following his standout performance at the Doug Raymond Invitational, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Bath won the heptathlon with a personal-best total of 5,734 points that ranks 14th nationally and is the most in the event by a MAC competitor since 2020. He tied or set new personal-bests in five of the seven events and posted NCAA top-100 marks in the 60-meter hurdles (#55), long jump (#66) and high jump (#92). In addition to the heptathlon, Bath is the conference leader in the high jump (6'-9.75") and long jump (24'-6.25").
Kent State continues the indoor season at the YSU Last Chance Invitational on Friday, Feb. 13.
