
Bath Selected for MAC Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Week Award

CLEVELAND – Kent State senior Ayden Bath has been named Mid-American Conference Men's Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The Scholar Athlete of the Week Award is presented to a MAC male and/or female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. The winners are selected by a representative of the MAC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs).
Bath, who was named MAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, totaled a personal-best 5,734 points to win the heptathlon at the Doug Raymond Invitational. His score ranks 14th nationally and is the most in the event by a MAC competitor since 2020.
Kent State continues the indoor season at the YSU Last Chance Invitational on Friday, Feb. 13.
