Track and Field Finishes Conference Meet Prep at Akron Invitational

Kent State will compete for the final time prior to the indoor conference meet on Friday with a short trip to the University of Akron at the Stile Athletics Field House for the Akron Invitational. Competition is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
PREVIEWING THE FLASHES
Kent State has 39 student-athletes entered for the one-day event. Gabrielle Hammonds (women's 60-meter hurdles) and Charles Pawlosky (men's shot put) headline the entrants and are ranked second in the Mid-American Conference in their events.
Desmond Boyd and Donovan Crawford are ranked third and fourth, respectively, in men's weight throw.
NEXT UP FOR KENT STATE
The Golden Flashes will compete for gold at the 2026 MAC Indoor Championships in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on Feb. 27-28.
