Ian Holt Makes PGA Tour for 2027 Season

KENT, Ohio – Kent State Golf alum Ian Holt is bound for the 2027 PGA Tour after a successful 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season.
Holt won two of the first three Korn Ferry Tour events in 2026 - The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic and The Panama Championship - to qualify for his spot in the 2027 PGA Tour. In 2025, Holt golfed his lowest single round of his professional golf career with a 62 at the Veritex Bank Championship
Holt has been a professional golfer for nine seasons after competing for the Golden Flashes from 2014-2018. The Stow, Ohio native was a PING All-American and a consistent All-MAC regular season and tournament team selection.
Holt won three consecutive MAC Championships with the Golden Flashes from 2016-2018 and was the MAC Tournament medalist in 2018. Holt was also the MAC Men's Golfer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
Prior to Kent State, Holt was a star amateur golfer in the Northeast Ohio area, making the OHSAA All-State team three times for Stow-Munroe Falls High School.
