2009 Junior Season (Team Captain)
Longstreth/NFHCA Second Team All-American … All-West Region First Team … Womensfieldhockey.com Second Team All-American … Mid-American Conference Player of the Year … First Team All-MAC … MAC All-Tournament Team … Became the first Golden Flash since Varsity ‘K’ Hall of Famer Helen Jerdan (Knull) in 2002 to earn a Second Team All-American recognition … After a Third Team honor last season, she and joins Jerdan (2001, 2002), Arlette van Cleef (2000, 2001) and Maggie Downey (1998, 1999) as the only back-to-back All-Americans in program history … Is the sixth Kent State player to be selected as MAC Player of the Year and first since Berber Rischen in 2004 … Led the MAC and tied for 14th in the nation with 14 assists while also adding 10 goals … Was the only MAC player to reach double figures in both goals and assists … Produced three game winning goals and four game winning assists … One of only two players in the nation to record five assists in a single game this season when she accomplished the feat vs Ball State (Nov. 1) … Had a streak of 10 consecutive games with at least one point … Totaled 34 points for the year, ranking third in the MAC … Has 105 points (34 goals - 37 assists) in her time with the Blue and Gold ranking ninth in school history … Ended the year tied for second all-time at KSU with 37 career assists … Has started all 63 games for the Golden Flashes the past three seasons.

Started all 22 games...named to NFHCA All-American Third Team, becoming the first Kent State player to earn All-American status since 2002...also earned a spot on Womensfieldhockey.com's All-American Third Team...named to NFHCA All-West Region First Team for second consecutive season...received All-MAC First Team recognition...ranked second on squad with 38 points...racked up 12 goals and 14 assists...ranked 19th in the nation in assists per game (0.64)...recorded three multi-goal games...found the net and dished out two assists vs. Central Michigan in the MAC Tournament Nov. 7...named to MAC All-Tournament Team...picked up a goal and an assist at Missouri State Nov. 1...scored two goals and assisted on another at Central Michigan Oct. 17...netted game-winner against Missouri State Oct. 12...scored and added two assists at Ohio Oct. 10...assisted on two of five goals scored at Ball State Oct. 5...tallied a goal and an assist at Miami Oct. 4...found the net twice against Lock Haven Sept. 7...scored first two goals of season against Saint Francis Aug. 30...totaled seven goals and 12 assists in an 11-game end of the season span.
2007 Freshman Season
Started in all 21 games and was named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year...led the team with 12 goals, nine assists and 33 points...earned NCAA All-West Region First Team honors...selected to All-MAC First Team...named to WomensFieldHockey.com’s All-Rookie Squad...her 1.57 points per game ranked sixth among all Division I freshmen...claimed a spot on the MAC All-Tournament Team after recording an assist in the semifinals...earned MAC Player of the Week honors on Sept. 4, after her second week of competition...fired 91 shots, putting an accurate .714% of her shots on goal...recorded a goal or an assist in eight of nine games in September...proved clutch with five game-winning goals...produced three games with multiple goals...scored twice--including the game winner--in a 3-1 triumph at Miami Sept. 22...made her presence felt a second time against the RedHawks by scoring twice to provide all the offense needed in a 2-1 win Oct. 13...pitched in two goals in a 4-1 victory over Missouri State on Oct. 20...tallied first collegiate goal in her first game, a 3-2 defeat against Bucknell on Aug. 25...scored the game-winner in a 2-1 overtime victory at Missouri State on Sept. 29...was the only MAC freshman to reach double digit goals in either of the past two seasons.

Competed for a number of Australian national teams throughout her youth career including the Australian Under-19 Team and Australia’s Under-21 Youth Olympic Team...earned MacKillop College Player of the Year honors in 2004 and the New South Wales Blues award....tabbed Most Enthusiastic Senior Sportswoman in 2006...played on New South Wales national championship team in 2007...named to Canberra Tournament Honorary Team in 2006...earned Pierre De Coubertin Award...was named Bathurstís Australia Day Junior Sportsperson of 2007...competed in cross country and tennis at MacKillop.

Born Dec. 15, 1988...is the daughter of Kevin Miller and Margaret Miller...majoring in education and hopes to be a teacher.
