INDOORÂ
• Ran a personal-best 6.87 in the 60m dash at the Golden Flashes Gala, taking 2nd place
• Took 5th in the 60m dash at the Kent State Tune Up with a time of 6.94
OUTDOORÂ
• Ran a personal-best 10.89 in the 100m dash at the Jesse Owens ClassicÂ
• Finished 15th in the 100m dash at the Hilltopper Relays (11.12)Â
Prior to Kent State
• Lettered in track and field and football
• Attended Howard High School and competed on the varsity level for three years under coaches Vonzell Barker and Dave Glenn
• Earned first-team all-metro, second-team all-metro and all-county honors over his junior and senior seasons
• Won the indoor state championship in the 55 meters in 6.4 seconds
• Competed at North Carolina A&T where he set PRs of 6.82 (60m), 10.64 (100m), 21.94 (200m Indoor), 21.26 (200m outdoor) and 36.18 (300m)
• As an Aggie at North Carolina A&T, Peoples qualified for the NCAA D1 East Region Preliminary in the 200m dash as a freshman; Earned Second Team All-MEAC honors in the 200m dash
