2004: Played in all 11 games, making five starts at cornerback ? Registered 35 total tackles, including 22 solo stops ? Made a season-high seven tackles, including one for a loss, at Iowa Sept. 4 ? Also broke up two passes vs. the Hawkeyes ?Had five solo stops (six total) at Central Michigan Oct. 2 ? Made five tackles vs. Marshall and also broke up a pass at Buffalo. 2003: Started 11 of 12 games at cornerback in his first season of eligibility ? Ranked fifth on the team with 78 tackles, including 43 unassisted ? Made a career-high 11 tackles in the seaon opener at Akron Aug. 29 ? Prior to Kent State: Was selected to the all-state team at defensive back as a senior at Kellam High School ? Also received all-Tidewater and all-region accolades on defense ? Earned all-Beach District honors as a defensive back, running back and punt returner ? Made eight interceptions during his senior season and totalled 28 for his prep career ?
