Prior to Kent State: Attended Hargrave Academy in Chatham, Va. ? Was a two-time all-state pick at Wagner High School in New York ? Earned all-league accolades each of his four seasons and was a three-time all-region selection ? Set school records for touchdowns and points as a receiver ? Had 14 career returns for touchdowns ? Was coached by Al Paturzo ? Earned letters in football and basketball.
