A Vision of Crivella: Strong and quick young linebacker who can cover the field. Will be counted on to solidify the unit with a year's worth of experience as a redshirt a year ago.
2002: Was redshirted.
Prior to Kent State: Attended Hargrave Academy in Chatham, Va. Was coached by current Kent State assistant Lonnie Messick. Led the Tigers in tackles. Was selected the Arlington County Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Bishop O'Connell High School when he made 170 tackles with four sacks and two interceptions. Also was named to the all-Arlington and all-WCAC first teams and received all-Met honorable mention. Was voted a Super 44 Virginia All-Star. Led the Knights to a 9-3 record that season. As a junior, made 120 tackles and earned second-team all-conference honors. Was coached by Mr. Snyder.
Personal: Born April 27, 1983. Son of Joseph and Therese Crivella. Is majoring in pre-business.
