2007 Junior Season
Helped anchor an offensive line that paved the way for the second-leading rush offense in the MAC...started first 11 games of the season.
2006 Redshirt Sophomore Season
Started every game at left guard, except for Nov. 24 at Ball State.
2005 Sophomore Season
Redshirted while recovering from an offseason knee injury.
2004 Freshman Season
Appeared in eight games as a freshman, mostly on special teams...saw limited action as a reserve along the offensive line.
Prior to Kent State
Enrolled at Kent State in January following a semester at Hargrave Academy in Chatham, Va., and participated in spring practice...helped the team to a 7-1 record in 2003...was coached by Robert Prunty...prior to Hargrave, graduated from Wheaton High School...as a senior at Wheaton High School in 2002, was named to the “small-school” all-state second team...also was an all-league selection...helped the Knights to an 8-1 record and a co-division championship that season...was coached by Lee Branthover...earned letters in football, track and field and basketball.
