• All-MAC First Team honoree
• Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar
• Totalled 134 birdies and six eagles.
• Averaged 4.72 on par-5's during the season.
• Had his best finish of the spring at the MAC Championship, where he finished sixth.
• Also Finished 15th at the Louisiana Classics.
• Two top-5 finishes in the fall, including a second place finish at the Cleveland State Invitational
• Matched his previous career low round of 66 twice in the fall, and posted a new personal best of 63
• 5th overall at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate

2015-16 SOPHOMORE NOTES
• Named MAC Golfer of the Year, earning spot on All-MAC First Team
• Named to PING Midwest All-Region Team
• Tied for fifth at MAC Championships with a 4-over 288, earning spot on all-tournament team
• Competed in all five tournaments in the fall, averaging a 72.8 per round.
• Earned Academic All-MAC honors
• Earned a season best finish, T2nd, (74-67-69, 6-under) at the Cleveland State Invitational. His 54-hole score of 210 was the best of his career.
• Finished T4th, 3-under par, at the Bank of Tennessee at The Ridges with rounds of 70-69-72. His 54-hole score of 211 came just days after earning his best at the Cleveland State Invitational.
• Recorded a low round of the season and career for the Golden Flashes with a 5-under 67 at the Cleveland State Invitational
• Earned Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week on Oct. 15 after finishing in the Top-5 at the Bank of Tennessee.
• Awarded the Arthur Golf Endowed Scholarship and Howard Cassell Golf Scholarship
2015 SUMMER NOTES
• First place at the Northern Amateur Championship at 7-under (70-65-74)
• Earned second at the Collegiate Midwest Amateur with a 3-under (69-70)
• Placed fourth at the Ohio Men's Amateur with a 2-under
• Tied for 11th at the Ohio Open at 9-under (68-68-69)
2014-15 FRESHMAN NOTES
• Second Team All-MAC selection
• Played 36 rounds with a 74.25 average to lead the Golden Flashes.
• Shot a season low 68 in the first round of the Inverness Intercollegiate where he captured seventh overall.
• Captured a season-best second place at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational after carding a 1-under par.
• Earned MAC Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 1.
• Awarded Ben and Candace Curtis Endowed Golf Scholarship
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Johnson is a three-time OHSAA All-State selection who finished second in the 2012 Division I OHSAA State Championship (73-74=147).
• Had several victories on the junior golf circuit, including a 17-shot win at the 2012 Golfweek Junior Tour event at the Phoenix Links when he shot 66-68.
• Won the 2012 Good Park Junior Golf Tournament (68-72=140 and finished second at the Hudson Junior Invitational in both 2012 (73-76-70=219) and 2013 (74-71=145).
• In his second appearance at the USGA Junior Amateur in 2013, Johnson advanced to match play (75-76=151).
