2013-14 – Senior Notes
• Honored as 2013-14 Co-MAC Player of the Year along with Kent State teammate Taylor Pendrith.

• Ranked No. 22 in the world by the Scratch Players World Rankings at the start of 2014 spring season
• Ranked No. 41 in the world in R&A Amateur World Rankings at start of 2014 spring season
• The 2014 champion at the prestigious Jones Cup, beating Austin Connelly of Irving, Tex. in a one-hole playoff at Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, Ga. Finished the 54-hole event atop the 90-player field after a 2-over-par total of 218.
• Finished tied for 17th place at the NCAA Sugar Grove Regional, shooting 75-73-76—224.
• Won second career individual Mid-American Conference Championship May 2-4 by shooting 11-under par (72-67-65-73—277) at Prairie View Golf Club in Suburban Indianapolis.
• Made the fourth hole-in-one of his life using an 8-iron at the 12th hole in round 3 of the Mid-American Conference Championship on May 2. Just 10 days earlier he made the third hole-in-one of his life during a practice round also using an 8-iron at the 12th hole of Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna, Ohio.
• Became the first back-to-back individual champion in the nine-year history of the Gopher Invitational, shooting 7-under-par to claim a one-shot victory in the first event of the 2013-14 golf season.
• Was co-medalsit at the General Hackler Championship in March 2014, shooting an 75-69-72 for an even-par 216 that tied him at the top of the leaderboard with Andrew Dorn of tournament host Coastal Carolina
• Finished third at the Davidson College Invitational in March 2014, shooting 1-over par (73-72-145)

• Semifinalist at U.S. Amateur at the Country Club in Brookline, Mass. ... Shot 70-73 to qualify for match play, then beat Mexico's Rodolfo Cazaubon 5&4 in the round of 64, Bryson Dechambeau 2&1 in round of 32, Patrick Rogers 5&3 in round of 16, and Neil Raymond 5&3 in the quarterfinals. Finally lost to eventual champion Matt Fitzpatrick 2&1 in the semifinals.
• Finished second at Canadian Amateur during summer of 2013.

• In the PGA Tour field playing as an amateur in the RBC Canadian Open during the summer of 2013.

• Had the best NCAA Championship individual performance ever by a Golden Flash tying for 4th in the nation with a one-under 212 (68-75-69).

2010-11 – Freshman Notes
• Played in 10 events on the year averaging 75.30 strokes per round
• Played in all five events during the fall carding 15 rounds
• Shot a season low 220 (73-70-77) at the Louisiana Classics to start the spring season
• Saw action in the Golden Flashes first eight events of the year
• Shot a final round 75 and had two counters in three rounds for the team at the 2011 NCAA Championship
Recent Amateur Highlights
• Won the 90-player Jones Cup Invitational. After finishing three rounds at 2-over par, beat Austin Connelly of Irving, Tex. in the first hole of a playoff at the Ocean Forest Golf Club on Sea Island, Ga.
• Semifinalist at the 2013 US Amateur. He became the fourth Kent State golfer to reach the semifinals at a US Amateur, joining Eric Frishette (1994), Ben Curtis (1999) and Ryan Yip (2006).
• Reached the match play bracket at the 2012 US Amateur
• Finished fourth at the 2012 Canadian Men’s Amateur
• Tied for Third at the 2011 Canadian Men’s Amateur
• Won medalist honors at the 2010 Investors Group Ontario Amateur Championship. Carded a final round, course-record 65 before securing the title in a two-hole playoff victory. Shot a seven-under 281 (73-71-72-65)
• Shared medalist honors at the 2010 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in June 2009 where he closed with rounds of 65-66 to finish at 10-under 274 (73-70-65-66)
