CLEVELAND – Junior outfielder Aaralyn Nogay has been named to the All-MAC Second Team. The Mid-American Conference announced its awards for the 2026 softball season on Wednesday morning.

Golden Flashes Walk-Off Western Michigan in Nine-Inning Thriller to Close 2026 Season

KENT -- Kent State Softball closed out the 2026 season in memorable fashion on Sunday afternoon at Devine Diamond. The Golden Flashes rallied from a six-run deficit to stun Western Michigan 9-8 on a Gabby Quinn three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Kent State Drops a Pair in Senior Weekend Series Opener

KENT – The Kent State Softball team fell in a pair of decisions on Saturday afternoon vs. Western Michigan University at Devine Diamond. The Golden Flashes dropped game one to the Broncos 12-4 prior to game two that ended 11-1. Despite the outcomes, Kent State celebrated the contributions of seniors Brynn Libler and Kasey Markusic during pregame, as well as the late Cara Neumann, who provided inspiration for the past decade and would have graduated in 2026 as a Golden Flash.

Golden Flashes to Host Senior Weekend Series Against Western Michigan

KENT – The Kent State University Softball team hosts their final home series of the season this weekend. The Golden Flashes will take on the Broncos of Western Michigan University beginning on Friday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. The series then finishes on Saturday, May 2 with a doubleheader scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. On Saturday Kent State Softball will be celebrating their graduating seniors Kasey Markusic and Brynn Libler.
