PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Named Miss Volleyball at the Lorain County Volleyball All-Star Game at the end of her senior season
• Earned First Team All-District, First Team All-Lorain County, Morning Journal All-Star First Team and First Team All-Southwestern Conference during senior season
• Totaled 370 kills as a senior and became  second player in school history to reach 1,000 career kills
• Four-year letterwinner for the Comets, Makruski was also an All-Ohio Third Team selection as a junior
• During the summer she helped the AVC 17 National volleyball team win the AAU 17 Open Division National Championship
