• Three-year letterwinner at Bloomfield Hills High School under head coach Jeff Rubin
• School record holder for career points scored, single-season rebounds, career rebounds, single-game blocks, single-season blocks and career blocks
• Three-time all-state, all-county and all-league selection
• Helped lead the Black Hawks to the Oakland Activities Association’s White Division championships and a 20-2 overall record during senior season
• Averaged 13.0 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game as a senior
• Averaged 13.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as a junior
• Averaged 14.0 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game in first year playing basketball as a sophomore
• Also lettered four years in track and field and two years in volleyball
• Two-time all-state in shot put
• Played AAU for the Michigan Storm
