Alisha Ellis joined the Kent State University athletic staff in August 2021 and currently serves as Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services. She is an academic counselor for Football, Volleyball, and Wrestling. Prior to joining the academic staff, Ellis served as Senior Admissions Counselor in the Kent State Admissions Office beginning in September 2014.

A native of Canton, Ohio, Ellis earned her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland and M.A. in School Counseling at Malone University.
