Amanda Glass was hired as the first assistant coach in Kent State women's lacrosse history in January of 2018 .
As a defensive-minded coach, Glass helped a Kent State defender earn an All-MAC selection in each of the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Lilly Miller was named to the All-MAC First Team in 2024, while Sidney Dering earned an All-MAC Second Team selection in 2025. Additionally, Glass coached Anna Zucconi to a MAC All-Freshman Team selection in 2025.
Glass helped the Flashes to a share of the program's first-ever regular season MAC Championship in 2023. She played a key role in the coaching and development of Madison Flannigan, who claimed the first MAC Goalkeeper of the Year honor in Kent State history during the championship-winning season.
As the Defensive and Goal Keepers coach, Glass helped goalkeeper Grace Merrill to a great season, averaging 9.71 saves per game which was good enough for 24th best in the country. Merrill also received Freshman First Team All A-SUN. Glass coached defender Graceyn Dean to 22 caused turnovers, a single-season program record, and 25 ground balls. Dean also earned All-MAC First Team honors. Glass oversees all of the travel logistics and develops and executes practice plans.
Glass spent two years at her high school alma mater, Western Reserve Academy, as the Assistant Athletic Director in addition to head lacrosse and assistant soccer coaching duties. Prior to WRA, Glass was the girls' lacrosse coach at Medina High School, where she won state championships in 2011 and 2012. Additionally, she led the Bees to the semi-finals in 2013 and the championship game in 2014. Glass has also been a director and coach at a number of lacrosse camps and clinics in Northeast Ohio through Force Sports and Gateway Lacrosse.
A 2010 Denison graduate, Glass was an acclaimed goalkeeper, garnering 1st team All-NCAC and IWLCA 2nd Team All-West Region recognition. Glass also received the "Heart of the Team" Award, as well as Denison University's NSCA Athlete of the Year, while earning a bachelor's degree in history.
The Hudson, Ohio native is married to Audi Glass and has a daughter, Jennifer.
