Aleeya Clemons joined the Athletic Communications staff at Kent State in October of 2022. Her current responsibilities include working with the Men’s Basketball Team and overseeing the athletic social media platforms.
Clemons joined the Kent State staff following one year as an assistant for the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits Communications department. During her time she would oversee communication efforts for the NLL’s Buffalo Bandits on a day-to-day basis while assisting in managing home games for the Buffalo Sabres.
As an undergrad at the State University of New York at Fredonia, Clemons spent two years working in the athletic department. At the same time, she spent time with the Minnesota Vikings during their training camp as a public relations intern.
A native of Olean, New York Clemons graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with degrees in sport administration and public relations. Clemons will be pursuing her master's degree at Kent State University in the Fall of 23’.
