Emily Moran joined the Kent State Sports Medicine team as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2015. Emily’s primary sport coverage is women’s basketball and softball.
Prior to becoming an assistant athletic trainer Moran was an intern at Kent State after completeing her graduate assistantship. She covered soccer and spring field hockey while working as an intern and graduate assistant.
A native of Kent, Ohio, Moran earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Iowa in 2012. She added her Masters of Arts in Sports and Recreation management at Kent State University in 2014.
