Kent State in Second Place After Steady Second Round

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Golden Flashes shot a 294, 10-over round of golf on Saturday in the second round of the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championships to be in second place entering the final round.
Kent State leads the field with 25 birdies in the first two rounds of the tournament.
Louisville leads the 16-team field at 12-over overall, three strokes ahead of Kent State.
Jennifer Ha had the best round for the Golden Flashes at 1-over to be in a tie for 4th place. Wad Phaewchimplee is currently tied for 6th place after a 3-over day.
Natalie Goodson posted a 4-over performance to be tied for 15th. Raksha Phadke improved in the second round with a score of 2-over to be tied for 24th. Rounding out Kent State's team scores, Taylor Kim shot 6-over to be tied for 35th.
Josée Doyon had a 7-over second round to be tied in 50th place playing as an individual.
Goodson leads the field in par four scoring while Ha leads in par five scoring. Ha has also collected the most birdies in the event with eight.
The final round of the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championships will be held on Sunday with tee times beginning at 10:10 for the Flashes.
