"The team played well and competed hard," Head Coach Greg Robertson said. "We let a few shots slip away today, but I think we are very close to doing some great things."
Jennifer Ha and Wad Phaewchimplee broke the top ten individually by tying for 8th place at 7-over and 7th place at 6-over, respectively. Ha shot 5-over in the final round while Phaewchimplee posted a 3-over final score.

Josée Doyon finished tied for 45th after a final round of 5-over golf while playing as an individual.
"It's always a good sign when four individuals finish in the top 20 in a very strong field," Robertson added.
The Golden Flashes ranked second in pars, had the third-best par four scoring and also ranked fourth in the field of 16 teams in par three scoring, par five scoring and birdies. Goodson led the entire contention in par four scoring in the tournament while also having the 4th-most pars. Ha finished with nine birdies, the third highest total in the field.
Kent State will have a break from competition until November when they will compete in the Jim West Challenge in Boerne, Texas, the 2-4.
