Kent State Concludes Fall Season at Jim West Challenge

Women's golf will compete in the Jim West Challenge Sunday-Tuesday hosted by Texas State to finish out its fall season.

• Kent State is paired with Texas State and Missouri in the opening round and will tee off from the 10th tee beginning at 10:30a.m. EST
• The second round will begin Monday Nov. 3 at 9:30a.m. EST
• The final round will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4 in a 9:30a.m. shotgun start

• Kent State has been off to a hot start through three events in the 2014-15 season
• After a 3rd place finish in the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate the last time out, the Golden Flashes were ranked 23rd in the nation by Golfstat and 26th by Golfweek
• Four student-athletes were in ranked in the top 125 by Golfstat also at that time
• Through the first three tournaments of the fall, Kent State is averaging a score of 292.89. The full season record is 298.56, set a season ago
• A Golden Flash was named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week after the past two events
• Raksha Phadke won the award following the Schooner Fall Classic and Wad Phaewchimplee was the honoree after the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate
