MAC Play Begins for Field Hockey at Missouri State

Kent State (2-7) heads west for two matches this weekend, beginning with the team's first Mid-American Conference matchup at Missouri State (2-9) on Friday at 5:00p.m. EST. The Golden Flashes will then take on St. Louis (2-8) Sunday at 2:00p.m. EST.

Missouri State
• Kent State is 22-4-1 all-time against Missouri State, winning 11 of the last 12 matches
• Last season, the Golden Flashes took a 5-2 victory over the Bears at home
• They also won the last contest on the road 4-3 in 2012
St. Louis
• Kent State is 11-3 all-time against St. Louis, winning the last 11 matches

Fall Food Fight Update
• The first count is in and field hockey has collected seven bags of food while soccer leads with ten and volleyball trails with five
• All of Kent State's fall sports are holding the Fall Food Fight to collect non-perishable items to restock the shelves at the Center of Hope in Ravenna, Kent Social Services and the Kent State Food Pantry
