Kent State begins NCAA Regional play in Stillwater, Oklahoma, this Thursday, as they vie to be in the top eight of a 24-team field to advance to the NCAA Championships later this month.

MAC DOMINANCE
• In 16 years of women's golf in the Mid-American Conference, Kent State has won the tournament every year.
• The Golden Flashes captured the title by a 21-stroke victory this season.
• Jennifer Ha repeated as medalist and MAC Women's Golfer of the Year.
• Natalie Goodson finished as runner-up while Wad Phaewchimplee finished third and was crowned MAC Freshman of the Year.
• Six Golden Flashes were All-MAC selections, the most all-time.
HOMECOMING
• First-year Head Coach Greg Robertson will return to his alma mater of Oklahoma State for the Central Regional.
• Robertson was a Cowboy from1993-1997, winning four conference titles and the national title in 1995.
• He began his coaching career in 2001 at Oklahoma State and helped the team finish 16th at the NCAA Championships.
CHASING RECORDS
• The team currently has the best season scoring average in program history at 298.3 entering regional play.
• The lowest scoring average in a complete season was 299.76 set in 2005-2006.
• Jennifer Ha is second all-time in career wins and is tied for first with a 75.31 career scoring average. She is 5th all-time in career rounds of par or better.
• For single-season Kent State records, Ha is tied for first with four victories this year. This season's scoring average of 73.81 and scoring average versus par of +2.19 are the best all time (those numbers are subject to change as the season is not yet complete).
• Ha has also had 13 rounds of par or better this season which is one less than the single-season record.
A CLOSE CALL
• Last season, Kent State barely missed its 5th NCAA Championship appearance.
• The Golden Flashes shot 17-over for a tie for 12th place at regionals after entering the final round one stroke shy of the 8th place finish that would have promoted them to the NCAA Championship.
• Jennifer Ha qualified as an indivudal, being just he second Kent State women's golfer all-time to do so.
