Women's Basketball Reveals Non-Conference Schedule

Head Coach Todd Starkey has revealed the non-conference schedule for his inaugural season at the helm of women's basketball.
The 2016-17 will begin with three consecutive home games, beginning with the season opener Friday, November 11 against Bradley. The Golden Flashes will then host Eastern Kentucky on Monday, November 14 and Robert Morris on Saturday, November 19.
Kent State's first road contest of the season will take place at Detroit on Monday, November 21. The team will then compete over Thanksgiving break at the Gulf Coast Showcase at Florida Golf Coast November 25-27. That event will begin with a matchup with Baylor.
The month of November will end against IPFW when the Flashes return home to the M.A.C Center on Wednesday, November 30.
Four games are slated for December as the team will take time off to focus on academics during finals week. Kent State will travel to Wright State on Wednesday, December 7 before returning home to face another nearby foe, Youngstown State, on Saturday, December 10.
The non-conference schedule concludes with two B1G road matchups: at Iowa Tuesday, December 20 and at Minnesota Thursday, December 22.
