Volleyball Hosts Eastern Michigan Saturday for Senior Day

KENT, Ohio โ Kent State will attempt to send its seniors out with a victory when Eastern Michigan visits the M.A.C. Center on Saturday for the season finale at 5 p.m. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The Golden Flashes (5-21, 3-12 MAC) are not headed to the Mid-American Conference Tournament for the first time since 2012, but can prevent the EMU from returning for the first time since 2014. The Eagles need a win combined with a Toledo loss to continue playing next week.
RECOGNIZING 2017 SENIOR CLASS
Following Saturday's match, Kent State will recognize this year's five seniors โ Kelsey Bittinger, Challen Geraghty, Amber Gerdeman, Brittney Jakscht and Heather Younkin โ for all of their contributions to the volleyball program.ย
SERIES HISTORY
Kent State owns a 19-34-1 record all-time against Eastern Michigan but has won the last three matchups. Head coach Don Gromala is 3-3 vs. the Eagles.
