Women's basketball will begin action in the WNIT Thursday night at Michigan. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Matchup
โข Kent State is 0-3 all time against Michigan
โข The two teams last met in the first round of the WNIT on March 19, 2010. The Wolverines won that game 69-34
โข The other two matchups were both in 1981, one in January and one in December. Those were both also played in Ann Arbor
โข Michigan is one of the top teams in this year's WNIT field
โข They finished third in the Big Ten at 11-5 and are 22-9 overall this year
โข The Wolverines have lost just one of 15 home games this season
