After playing six of its last eight games on the road, Kent State looks forward to hosting Toledo Thursday night at Dix Stadium on CBS Sports Network. The Rockets are making their first trip to Kent since 2014.

All-Time Series
Dating back to 1942, Toledo leads Kent State 25-21 in the all-time series, but the Golden Flashes hold a 16-6 edge in Kent. The Rockets have won seven of the last eight meetings, including the most recent matchup in Toledo in 2015. The two teams met every year from 1955 to 1994, but have only played
five times since then. Kent State's most celebrated victory in program history came against Toledo, clinching the 1972 MAC championship in the regular season finale as the goal posts came down at Dix Stadium. Jack Lambert made 29 tackles. The Flashes' most recent win in the series came in 2006.
