Women’s Basketball Hosts Free Exhibition Sunday vs. Slippery Rock

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's basketball team hosts an exhibition game against Slippery Rock inside the M.A.C. Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. Admission is free and doors open to fans an hour prior to tip-off.
This will be the only exhibition contest for the Golden Flashes and the first since 2015.
Kent State opens the regular season next weekend with a trip to the Tar Heel State. The Flashes will play North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 10 and 17th-ranked North Carolina State on Sunday, Nov. 11. Both games will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
Kent State's home opener is Saturday, Nov. 17 against Northern Kentucky at 5 p.m. as part of the two-day Kent State Classic. The Flashes will play Oakland on Sunday, Nov, 18 at 1:30 p.m.
