Coming off its first Mid-American Conference win and its first road victory, Kent State looks to give Buffalo its first MAC loss of the season Tuesday night at UB Stadium on ESPNU. The Golden Flashes conclude their stretch of five straight East Division opponents in their second straight Tuesday night MACtion game.

All-Time Series
Buffalo leads Kent State 12-11 in the all-time series, as the road team has won each of the last eight meetings. Â The Flashes have won five of the last six games at UB Stadium. Â The last time the teams met in Buffalo in 2016, Nick Holley ran for 224 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Flashes to a 44-20 win. Â Last season, Emmanuel Reed ran for three touchdowns in the first half and totaled 144 yards for the game as the Bulls topped Kent State 27-13. Trey Harrell had 122 yards receiving and Kavious Price caught a 75-yard touchdown pass.

Special Teams
In the last two games, the Flashes converted a fake punt for a first down against Akron and a fake field goal at Bowling Green. Â Both led to points.
In a span of three games, Kent State's special teams blocked a punt (Howard), recovered an on-side kick (Penn State) and blocked a field goal (Ole Miss). Â
Adams ReturnsÂ
Junior all-conference punter Derek Adams missed the first seven games of the season with a hip injury, but looked like his old self against Akron. Â Adams was named MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week and MAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week after launching punts of 77 and 73 yards against Akron. Â His 77-yard boot tied for the third longest in program history and none of his eight punts were returned. Â In each of his two games, Adams has placed four punts inside the 20.
Capitalizing in Redzone
The Flashes scored touchdowns all four of its redzone trips at Bowling Green. Â In its first win against Howard, Kent State scored five touchdowns and one field goal on six trips to the redzone. Â On the year, the Flashes have scored on 90 percent of their trips to the redzone, ranking 27th in the nation.
