The Kent State men's basketball dropped to 5-1 on the season after a 71-52 loss on the road to No. 10 Ohio State. Despite a second half surge by the Flashes that tied the game with 10 minutes remaining, the Buckeyes answered a Flashes' 16-4 run with 17-stright points. Danny Pippen scored a game and season-high 19 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks. Antonio Williams rounded out the double-figure scoring with 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
