
Balanced Flashes Conclude Tour with 103-54 Victory

NANAIMO, B.C. — Kent State concluded an unbeaten exhibition tour in Canada on Monday evening by defeating Vancouver Island, 103-54.
All 13 Golden Flashes who played got into the scoring column. For the third time in as many games, five Flashes scored in double-figures. Sophomore Asiah Dingle posted a game-high 16 points, while redshirt senior Megan Carter and junior Linsey Marchese were right behind with 14 points each. Sophomore Hannah Young (12 points) and freshman Clare Kelly (11 points) displayed their long-range shooting and combined for seven of Kent State's 13 three-point field goals.
The Flashes held a 54-29 rebounding advantage. Carter and freshman Nila Blackford grabbed 10 boards apiece. Kent State registered 27 assists in the contest. Dingle led the way with seven helpers and Carter had six.
