KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University women's golf team is set to compete in the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at the Cherokee Country Club (par 71, 5,900 yards) in Knoxville, Tenn.
"We're excited to get back on the golf course," said head coach Lisa Strom. "Cherokee CC sets up well for our team. We hit the ball long and that gives us a big advantage at this course. There are a few holes where you have to be disciplined off the tee and the approach shots into the greens require your full attention."
