KENT, Ohio - Kent State women's lacrosse head coach Brianne Tierney has announced the hiring of Megan Patrick as an assistant coach. This promotion comes after Patrick had previously worked as a volunteer and graduate assistant on staff since January 2020.
"Coach Patrick has been a devoted and knowledgeable asset to our program as a volunteer and then grad assistant," Tierney said. "So we are thrilled we are able to elevate her to full time."
Prior to coming to Kent State, Patrick was a four-year varsity letterman in lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University. She was named All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team in her sophomore and senior seasons, and Second Team in her junior year. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Patrick attended Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, where she was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and three-year letterwinner in field hockey.
