
Anna Zucconi and Zayda Crumpton Earn All-MAC Honors For Kent State Lacrosse

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Anna Zucconi and Zayda Crumpton were selected for All-Mid American Conference honors for the Kent State Lacrosse team, the conference announced on Wednesday. Zucconi earned a first team selection for her defensive efforts while Zayda Crumpton earned second team All-MAC on the offensive side.
As a three-time Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the week in 2026, Anna Zucconi took a massive step to becoming one of the top defensive players in the MAC in her sophomore season.Â
Zucconi finished the season tied for 2nd in the MAC in Caused Turnovers with 32 and third in the conference in ground balls with 47. Those two statistics were also program single-season records at Kent State while finishing top 40 in the country in caused turnovers per game.
Zayda Crumpton wrapped up her senior season with 52 points(10th in MAC) off of 36 goals(7th in MAC) and 16 assists. This year's selection was her fourth in four years with Kent State with first team selections in 2024 and 2025 and second team in 2023 and 2026.
As a focal point in the Kent State offense, she recorded a hat-trick seven times this season including in conference games against Akron, Detroit Mercy and Central Michigan. She also finished the season 2nd in the MAC in shots with 134 while tying a program record with 57 caused turnovers on the defensive end with 11 this year.
