The Kent State men's golf team will head to Illinois for the Windon Memorial tournament, hosted by Northwestern. The 54-hole tournament will be played at Lake Shore Country Club on Sept. 27-28.
The Golden Flashes will compete against a field of 14 teams, including six in the top-25 of this week's Golfweek rankings. Kent State will be paired with Cal Poly and Indiana for Monday's opening round with a 9:30 a.m. ET tee time.
After opening the season with a fourth-place finish at the Gopher Invitational, the Flashes are ranked 32nd by Golfweek.
This will be the first time that brothers Josh Gilkison and Jordan Gilkison are both in the lineup for Kent State. Josh finished second at the Gopher Invitational and holds a No. 10 national ranking.
