Hogg Finishes Inside Top-15, Ibit Inside Top-30 at Marino Classic

Darcy Hogg finishes a strong weekend with his second even-par round for the Kent State Herb Page men's golf team at the Michael A. Marino Classic in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.
Hogg finishes the tournament tied for 15th at 2-under-par, with Isaiah Ibit turning in his third one-over-par round for the tournament to finish tied for 30th at 3-over. Liam Curtis turned in an even-par round for a 58th-place finish at 8-over-par.
Nolan Haynes and Ramiro Acevedo each brought in 78 rounds for 6-over. Haynes finished the tournament at 10-over and Acevedo finished at 14-over, good enough for 67th and 82nd, respectively.
The Golden Flashes finished in 12th across the 16-team field at 19-under par.
NC State won the team championship at 15-under-par and Cooper Claycomb of Louisville and Max Bengtsson of Coastal Carolina tie for the medalist honor at 10-under-par.
