Myrtle Beach, SC... The Kent State men's golf team will be back in action after two weeks off for the General Hackler Championship in South Carolina.
"We're just excited to compete this week," Flashes head coach Jon Mills said. "We could have some challenging weather conditions with temperatures dropping as we speak. But we feel like we are built for that and the guys are definitely ready."
Kent State will have steep competition again this week at an invitational that will host #2 Oklahoma State, #18 Auburn, and eight more teams, the Flashes included, in the top 50.
The Flashes have are one of just 15 schools to ever win the General Hackler Championship, tying with Arkansas for the top spot back in 2013.
Kent State will be paired with Liberty and UCF with a Sunday tee-time of 7:40 ET.
