
2022 Football Season Tickets on Sale Starting Thursday

KENT, OHIO- Season tickets for the 2022 FlashFAST football season are set to go on sale this Thursday at 9 a.m. through the Kent State ticket office and website.
Season tickets for the five-game home slate start at $60 for general admission, with seating available on the west side, north end zone or the south standing room patio area.
Chair back season tickets for section four on the west side of Dix Stadium are $85 for the five games.
Season tickets in the President's loge and on the Presidential Patio Deck are part of a premium experience, contact The Golden Flashes Club at 330-672-2078 for information on how you can access these season tickets.
All season tickets will incur a $15 facility fee and WILL INCLUDE a season-long parking pass. Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Primary parking will be in the lot outside of the west entrance to the stadium with overflow parking in front of the Kent State Field House located behind the east side of the stadium.
Fans who have purchased season tickets in previous seasons can log into their accounts at KentStateSports.com/tickets and will see they have a pending rollover to the 2022 campaign. Fans who renew their season tickets before Monday, August 29th will also receive a $10 discount on their total purchase.
The 2022 season ticket will continue to be digital and fans are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Kent State Digital Ticketing Guide.
The 2022 home season opens with Parents and Family weekend on September 17th as the Golden Flashes will welcome in the Sharks from Long Island University. It will be the first meeting between the Flashes and Sharks, who compete out of the Northeast Conference.
On Saturday, October 1st the Ohio Bobcats come to Dix Stadium. Kent State went to Athens last year and knocked off Ohio, 34-27 and will look to do the same again in 2022.
The Wagon Wheel showdown rolls into town on Saturday, October 22nd. The Flashes have won the last three against the rival Zips including a 38-0 shutout at InfoCision Stadium last season. Kent State will look to extend their rivalry win streak to four, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since the Flashes won 10 straight from 1942 through 1954.
The MAC transitions into its infamous MACtion stretch of the season with Kent State having Saturday, October 29th off in preparation for their Tuesday, November 1st meeting with the Ball State Cardinals at Dix Stadium. The Flashes won a thrilling 41-38 showdown against Ball State in November of 2019, part of their four-game winning streak to close that season.
Eastern Michigan comes to Dix Stadium for the home finale on Wednesday, November 16th. The cross-over series picks up after a one-year respite as the Flashes defeated Eastern 27-23 to start 2020. Kent State has won seven of the last nine against the Eagles dating back to 2004.
The Golden Flashes are coming off their first eastern division title since 2012 and their second bowl appearance in the FlashFAST era. It was a record-setting 2021 season as Kent State demolished the single-season program record for total offense. The Flashes put up 6,907 yards of offense in 2021, nearly 1500 yards better than the previous record set in 2012. They did it with a balanced attack, setting a program record for total rushing yards (3,482) and passing (3,425) and are poised to continue to re-write the record book in 2022.
Game times will be released at a later date, game times are subject to change via a 21-day television flex in coordination with the Mid-American Conference. Single game tickets will go on sale this July.
