
Golden Flashes Tie for Fourth Place at Robert Kepler

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Kent State men's golf team tied for fourth place at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate after finishing 1-over par on Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes finished 7-under par for the tournament and posted a team score of 857. Josh Gilkison shot a 2-under par 70 and finished in fifth place on the individual leaderboard. Gilkison and the Flashes improved one spot on Sunday and are trending up heading into the Mid-American Conference Championships next weekend.
The Flashes took down the other four MAC schools in the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate by more than 22 strokes each. Jordan Gilkison finished tied for 12th place with a 3-under par 213 on the weekend, while Cade Breitenstine shot 1-under par for the tournament and finished tied for 15th place.
Kent State will look to win its sixth-straight MAC Championship next weekend as the team travels to Naperville, Ind., for the tournament.
