Naperville, ILL.... The Kent State men's golf team will be in search of their 28th conference title at the 2022 MAC Championships in Illinois this weekend.
The Flashes have dominated the Mid-American Conference since the turn of the century, winning or earning a share of 16 of the 21 tournaments held since 2000, including 11 of the last 12.
Kent State will also come in to the weekend fresh off a fourth place finish in Columbus, their best of the spring semester.
"We're excited to get things underway," Flashes head coach Jon Mills said. "I think the guys had a solid week at Ohio State and hopefully it gives them some momentum going into another MAC Championship. "I fully expect this to be a tough week mentally and competitively."
Kent State will enter the weekend as the favorites by ranking, checking in at #64 on GolfStat.com, with Toledo featured as the only other top-100 team at #99.
All three rounds of the competition will be streamed live to NIU's website here (niuhuskies.com/watch/?Live=5943&type=Live) with commentary provided by Lauren Withrow and Alex Campbell.
Live scoring of this year's MAC Championship can be found on golfstat.com.
