Flashes Place Conference Best 10 Wrestlers on All-Academic Team

KENT, OHIO- The Golden Flashes placed a conference-best 10 wrestlers on the Mid-American All-Academic team as announced by the Conference.
The Academic All-Conference team is reserved for those that excel in the classroom and in competition. A minimum 3.2 cumulative grade-point average is required. The 10 wrestlers selected matches last year's number of honorees and ties for the program record.
Kody Komara caps off a tremendous season with a team-best 4.0 GPA. Komara captured the Mid-American Conference title at 149 pounds and earned a spot in the national tournament. Fellow national qualifier Colin McCracken joined Komara on the list.
The full list of Kent State All-Academic Team members is below. A total of 69 wrestlers were named to the All-Academic Team.
