Flashes Open Season In South Bend At Fighting Irish Classic

South Bend, IN... The Kent State men's golf team will open their 2022 campaign in South Bend at the Fighting Irish Classic, a tournament they finished fourth at in 2021.
The classic will be an excellent opportunity for the Flashes to make a strong first impression after winning yet a sixth-straight MAC Championship a season ago.
Kent State will be excited to get veterans like MAC Golfer of the Year Chris Vandette and MAC Freshman of the Year Jordan Gilkison back on the links, but will also anticipate seeing what they have in Freshman Ben MacLean who will make the lineup in the opening event of his freshman season
