
Kent State Lacrosse selected to finish third in MAC Preseason Poll

CLEVELAND– The Kent State lacrosse team was picked to finish in third place by the Mid-American Conference coaches this afternoon.
The Golden Flashes received 32 points only behind Robert Morris and Central Michigan. The MAC will have seven women's lacrosse teams for the first time this season with the addition Eastern Michigan.
Kent State enters the 2023 season with a strong 26 player roster led by Head Coach Brianne Tierney. The Flashes posted the most wins in program history last season and qualified for the inaugural MAC tournament.
Junior Jackie Wolford was the team top scorer last year when she set the record for goals in season. All-MAC honorees, Jordan Zablo, Lily Miller, and Wolford all return.
The Golden Flashes kick off their fifth season this Friday at Cincinnati at 3 p.m.
